As Coronavirus came back again with the worst wave of the pandemic, a few weeks back, it seems corona will end soon, but the increasing positive case again makes the situation uncontrollable for all. By Resent report of Union Health Ministry on Monday, India Reported more than 1,03,558 new positive Cases in the last 24 hours. With these increased positive cases, India Entered the list of more than 1 Lakh cases in one day, along with the US, to the list.
Increasing positive cases also increased the death toll. With 478 new deaths, the death toll in India has gone up to 1, 65, 101. Now, there are 7, 41, 830 active cases in the nation as of now.
As per the Indian Council of Medical Research(ICMR), in the report, 8,93,749 samples were tested on Sunday. According to the ministry of health and family welfare, 7,91,05,163 people have been vaccinated throughout the country till now and a total of 24,90,19,657 samples have been tested so far.
As the situation turns worst, from April 2, the government started vaccinating all people who are above 45 years. India already started the vaccination drive on January 16, and the main priority was given to all healthcare and frontline workers. The second phase of Vaccination started on March 1, where doses were directed to the citizen above the ages of 60 and between 45 and 59 years with ANI( Specific Comorbidities).
